City of Victorville issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
The City of Victorville will host a Cars & Reels Drive-In Movie Night, Dec. 5 featuring two separate showings of the holiday movie classic, “The Grinch.” The first showing will be at 5:30 p.m., and the second will take place at 8 p.m. Attendees will view the movie from the dirt lot across from Victorville City Hall on Civic Drive. Due to space constraints, entrance to this event is limited to those in possession of tickets won through the City’s free ticket drawing.
Registration for the ticket drawing will be open Nov. 19 to Nov. 23. Winners of the ticket drawing will be randomly selected on Nov. 24.
Register for the ticket drawing at VictorvilleCA.gov/Recreation. Click on the button to “Register for Activities,” then type, “Cars” into the search box to find the Cars & Reels Movie Night.
Attendees must remain in their vehicles during this event; and as a precautionary measure to reduce risk of spreading COVID-19, members of different households should not mix during this event. Attendees are welcome to bring snacks and refreshments to be enjoyed during the movie.
