City of Hesperia issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
The American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive on December 10, 2020 from 9:30AM - 3:30PM at the Hesperia Branch Library located at 9650 Seventh Ave., Hesperia, CA 92345.
For a limited time, the American Red Cross will test all blood, platelet, and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies as an additional health service to Red Cross donors. All donors and staff will be screened before entering the blood drive. Please schedule an appointment online by visiting www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code: hesperiacity. You can also call the Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS. Picture ID will be required.
Red Cross will ONLY accept appointments to help maintain social distancing. Only healthy donors will be allowed inside.
