Senator Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) celebrated Lenton Company, a family-owned home remodeling business serving the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valleys, as Senate District 21’s Small Business of the Month.

"Bob Lenton's decision to follow his dream and start his own small business embodies the American spirit and a work ethic worth celebrating," said Senator Wilk. "That drive is alive and well in Lenton Company today and is the foundation of their 40 years of success. Their commitment to client satisfaction and community involvement is truly commendable. It is my pleasure to recognize Lenton Company as Senate District 21’s Small Business of the Month. Congratulations!"

Lenton Company began in the late 1970s when Bob Lenton decided to create his own handyman business following a successful career in aerospace. In 1984, Bob and his wife Sheila officially founded Lenton Company, which is now run by their son Robert, his wife Evelyn, and their daughter Kendal.

From kitchen remodels to whole-house makeovers, Lenton Company owes its decades of success to an unwavering focus on their customers. Bob and Sheila instilled in their son Robert values of integrity, careful listening, and high standards—qualities that Robert and his family have made core parts of the business today.

In addition to creating beautiful home projects, Lenton Company strives to be a positive force in the community by getting involved with various charities and local organizations.

On April 13, 2024, Lenton Company celebrated its 40th anniversary and announced the creation of “Bob's Jobs,” a new division within the company focused on home improvement and repair projects.

"We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Senator Wilk," said Robert Lenton. "This accolade is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire team. We strive to provide exceptional service and quality to our customers and have a positive impact within our community. It is immensely gratifying to see our efforts acknowledged at this level."

Evelyn Lenton added, "This recognition is not just about us but about our incredible team, our loyal customers, and our supportive community. We are deeply grateful for the trust and support we have received, which has enabled us to grow and succeed these past 40 years. We look forward to continuing to serve our community."
