On Thursday, March 13, former Academy for Academic Excellence standout Paityn Thibodeaux’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southern Connecticut Owls.

The game took place at Pelz Field. This was their second matchup against the Owls this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Wilmington Wildcats.
