Senator Scott Wilk of Santa Clarita has acknowledged Rawfa Productions as his Small Business of the Month. The recognition highlights the company’s significant contributions to the High Desert community and its efforts in preserving Route 66’s history and culture. The award was presented to Rafael Pena, founder and owner of Rawfa Productions, who is known for his creative vision and passion for storytelling.

“Small businesses like Rawfa Productions are the backbone of our community, driving innovation, supporting local culture, and inspiring future entrepreneurs,” stated Senator Wilk. He further praised Rafael’s dedication to maintaining Route 66’s rich history while promoting local businesses and artists.

Rafael Pena expressed gratitude towards Senator Wilk, his office, and the community supporters. “This recognition has energized me to keep going and strive for even greater things, and it’s all for the High Desert,” he said.

Rawfa Productions extends beyond media services by engaging deeply with the community. The company collaborates with organizations such as the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce, Rock’n Our Disabilities, Desert Valley Hospital, and C.A.R.S Collision Auto Repair Specialist to promote local talent. Additionally, Rafael contributes generously to various initiatives including organizing clean-ups, leading media awareness campaigns like the Family Assistance COVID campaign, supporting public art projects on Route 66, and contributing to Hesperia Recreation Center murals.

The award not only acknowledges Rafael’s business acumen but also celebrates his efforts in revitalizing Route 66 while fostering economic growth in the region. “Being recognized as Business of the Month was an unexpected and pleasant surprise,” commented Rafael Pena. He appreciated how this honor reflects on their accomplishments so far.
