On Friday, Feb. 7, former Oak Hills High School standout Holly Medina’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium against Arizona State Sun Devils.
