On Monday, Feb. 24, former Oak Hills High School standout Maddie Rae Romo’s current college team, the Newman Jets, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minot State Beavers.
The game took place at Gahnstrom Field. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.
The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at NU Softball Field against Northwestern Oklahoma Rangers.
