The tweets addressed Women’s History Month, a recognition ceremony for Vietnam veterans, and an update regarding his office’s schedule due to weather conditions.
On March 5, 2025, Rep. Obernolte acknowledged the significance of Women’s History Month. He stated: “March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor the trailblazers who have shaped our nation through their courage, innovation, and leadership. From securing the right to vote to breaking barriers in every field, women have made history.”
The following day, March 6, he tweeted about honoring Vietnam veterans from his district: “I had the honor of recognizing 16 Vietnam veterans from our district in a special pinning ceremony honoring their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our nation.” He emphasized the importance of acknowledging these veterans’ contributions despite not always receiving a warm welcome upon returning home.
Later on March 6th, Obernolte informed constituents about a change in his office schedule due to adverse weather conditions: “Due to inclement weather, our scheduled mobile office hours today in Lake Arrowhead have been postponed for the safety of our team and constituents.” He apologized for any inconvenience caused and assured that updates would be provided soon.
