Rep. Jay Obernolte, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 23rd district since 2021, has recently highlighted his involvement in advancing technological and agricultural policy through a series of posts on his social media account.
The following day, he commented on recent legislative developments in agriculture: “I was pleased to vote in favor of the 2026 Farm Bill when it passed the House this week. This legislation delivers critical support for farmers, ranchers, and rural communities across our country while also strengthening agricultural innovation. In addition, it helps ensure a” (May 7).
On May 8, Obernolte shared news about receiving recognition from an industry group: “I was honored to receive the Digital Patriot Award from the Consumer Technology Association alongside other leaders advancing American innovation. I will keep working to ensure the United States remains at the forefront of the technologies shaping our future https://t.co/jvmB6VMFXD”.
Obernolte has served as a member of Congress since replacing Paul Cook in 2021 and previously represented his community in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2020. Born in Chicago in 1970, he currently resides in Big Bear Lake and holds a degree from California Institute of Technology.
