Rep. Jay Obernolte, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 23rd district since 2021, recently shared updates on his activities and policy positions through a series of posts on social media.

On July 15, 2025, Obernolte highlighted his visit to a local manufacturing facility, stating, “I had the opportunity to tour the Church & Dwight manufacturing plant in Victorville with plant manager Marques Irving. The following day, July 16, Obernolte addressed the future of transportation technology in another post: “Powered lift aircraft are the future of transportation—and America should lead the way. I’m urging the FAA to issue long-overdue certification guidance to help the U.S. stay ahead of competitors like China and bring advanced air mobility to market safely and swiftly. Obernolte has represented California’s 23rd district since succeeding Paul Cook in 2021. Prior to his congressional service, he was a member of the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2020. Born in Chicago in 1970 and currently residing in Big Bear Lake, Obernolte holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology, awarded in 1992.
