Obernolte has served in Congress since replacing Paul Cook in 2021 and previously held office in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2020. He was born in Chicago in 1970 and resides in Big Bear Lake. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the California Institute of Technology in 1992.
