Rep. Jay Obernolte, who represents California’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his official social media account regarding his community engagement and activities during early August 2025.

Jay Obernolte has represented California’s 23rd district in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Paul Cook. Prior to serving in Congress, he was a member of the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2020. Born in Chicago in 1970 and currently residing in Big Bear Lake, Obernolte graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
