Rep. Jay Obernolte, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 23rd district, has recently posted a series of updates on his official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing election integrity and local infrastructure projects.

On August 21, 2025, Obernolte wrote about his appearance on national television to discuss electoral issues: “I joined Fox News to discuss the dangers of mid-cycle redistricting. Changing district maps in the middle of a decade erodes trust in our elections and undermines confidence in their fairness. Voters deserve transparency and consistency, not more partisan politics.”

A day later, on August 22, 2025, Obernolte shared details from a visit with local officials focused on water infrastructure: “I recently visited the Hi-Desert Water District to meet with General Manager Tony Culver and learn how I can assist in their efforts to ensure safe, reliable water for our communities. We discussed ongoing infrastructure projects and future plans to meet the region’s growing”

Earlier that week, on August 20, 2025, he also posted an update accompanied by a link: https://t.co/4jI3hJXpMo
