On Friday, Feb. 21, former Hesperia Christian School standout Cody New’s current college team, the California Baptist Lancers, lost 10-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Long Beach State Beach.
The game took place at Tony Gwynn Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Beach this season.
The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at Triton Ballpark against UC San Diego Tritons.
