On Friday, Feb. 21, former Excelsior Charter standout Carter Oerman’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.

The game took place at Elmore W. Vail Field. This was their second matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Elmore W. Vail Field against Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.
