On Sunday, March 2, former Academy for Academic Excellence standout Paityn Thibodeaux’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wheeling Cardinals.

The game took place at JB Chambers I-470 Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 9:30 p.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Walsh Cavaliers.
